The male we have chosen as the father of this litter is Zabava Mercury (2002 — 2010). He comes from the renowned Borzoi kennel, owned by Irina & Kristina Terra in the USA.

They had their first litter in 1998. "Merkusha" comes from their second litter (M-litter), born in 2002. The litter that has proven to have a positive impact on the breed, both at home and abroad.
Zabava Mercury is linebred on his grandfather - US CH, SBIS Mariza Rising Star Forever, adding some English lines. Sired by Mariza Forever Glacial and under SBOS, US CH, CA CH Zabava Winter Berry JC, ROMX-C. With both American and Russian lines on her mother's side.
"Merkusha`s" life was cut short suddenly, when he died after a collision accident. He was a healthy and cheerful clown at home, always with a smile on his face. "Merkusha" was a "once in a lifetime" Borzoi boy...
Both parents of the upcoming litter have normal values ​​for; Heart, Eyes, Thyroid & DM (N/N). Merkusha also has a CHIC number in AKC (USA).

Success in the Ring

In the spring of 2024, Ballada - as the only Norwegian-born borzoi - won the bitch class, the challenge certificate (CC), and best in the opposite sex. At Europe's largest and most prestigious exhibition in England, namely CRUFTS.
She has also been Borzoi of the Year'23, and won BIS at the Borzoi Speciality in the same year.


Primadonna

Ballada (Siw-Anita/Lulu) - dear child has many names. She is our show star, who has also recently shown - that she can also run on the LC track (if she finds it amusing enough - depends on a day).

Ballada lives in Oslo, but will have her litter here with us, at the West coast.
